Option 1
Day 1 : Departure from the inn around 10 a.m. on camelback, preparation of the lunch meal, with meal in the desert.
After a short break, we’ll climb the big dune to discover the view of Erg Chebbi.
Afterwards, sunset viewing while heading toward the bivouac before dinner, with small musical entertainment in the evening.
Day 2 : Early wake up call to watch the sunrise, breakfast, followed by a return to the inn for
showers. Visit of the oasis of Hassi Labied with its Khoutara irrigation system and the White Source.
This concludes our journey.
Option 2
Day 1 : Departure from the inn toward 17hr by camelback – 1h30 in the sea of sand.
We’ll climb the big dune to discover the view of Erg Chebbi.
Afterwards, sunset viewing while heading towards the bivouac before dinner, with small musical entertainment in the evening.
Day 2 : Early wake up call to watch the sunrise, breakfast, followed by a return to the inn for showers. Visit of the oasis of Hassi Labied with its Khoutara irrigation system and the White Source.
This concludes our journey.
3 days 2 nights
Day 1
● Departure in the morning around 10 a.m. on camelback, for the crossing of Erg Chebbi.
● Settling down on the other side at the foot of the tamaris to prepare the desert pizza and noon
meal.
● Afterwards, crossing of the dry riverbed to meet with a semi nomadic Beduin family.
● Couscous will be served for dinner.
● Overnight under the stars or in tents.
Day 2
● Early wake up call to watch the sunrise on the volcanic plateau, followed by breakfast.
● Return to the dunes for lunch.
● Sunset viewing from the big dune of Erg Chebbi.
● Return to the bivouac for dinner and musical entertainment in the evening.
● Overnight under the stars or in tents.
Day 3
● Early wake up call to watch the sunrise, followed by breakfast and return to the inn for showers.
● Visit of Hassi Labied’s associations, the oasis and the White Source, with explanation of its
Khoutara irrigation system, depending on the residents’ availability.
